The City of Claremont continues to assess the impact of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), in consultation with Los Angeles County Public Health Officials. There have been no documented cases of COVID-19 in Claremont.
In an abundance of caution and to protect our vulnerable populations, the following City activities will be canceled:
• Any and all events or classes involving adults 55+.
• City hosted special events with more than 100 participants through April 12, including Arbor Day, and the Spring Celebration. Earth Day will be postponed (Staff will reassess on April 1, 2020 to determine if an extended cancellation timeline is necessary).
• Congregate meal service for our seniors.
