They say that you cannot pour from an empty cup, and that self-care is not selfish. These concepts are widely accepted by the mental health field and anyone addressing their wellness or caring for the wellness of others. However, there are times we do not know where to turn to access the help needed to support wellness and mental health goals. This lack of awareness of resources or issues related to equity can impact not only how we take care of ourselves, but how we care for others and our environment.
Please join us as Sara Rodriguez, LMFT, MHSA Projects Manager for Tri-City Mental Health presents a variety of services available at Tri-City Mental Health. Attendees will learn about how Tri-City has developed programs funded under the Mental Health Services Act, increase your understanding of the concept of wellness and how it can impact our well-being, our relationships, and our environment, be equipped with contact information to reach various departments, and provide feedback and comments that can impact how Tri-City develops programming in the future.
