May 13, 2020
6:30PM - 8:30PM

Description

This queen of flowers has played a major role in poetry, religion, art, and literature; music, medicine, fashion design, perfume, and home decoration — even cuisine. It is an ancient flower, grown for thousands of years throughout Asia and the Orient before it appeared in the Western world. Learn more about this fascinating history and how to use roses from Keyvan Geula.

Claremont Garden Club meetings are free and open to all. They are held on the second Wednesdays of most months at the Napier Center in Pilgrim Place, 660 Avery Rd, Claremont, 91711. Meetings start at 6:30 pm for refreshments and socializing, and the talks begin at 7pm.
