Sustainable Claremont will host our Annual Earth Day Celebration. This year’s event is shaping up to be one of our biggest yet, as we partner with ActiveSGV and their 626 Golden Streets Heart of the Foothills event. Heart of the Foothills and our Earth Day Celebration will connect the cities of San Dimas, La Verne, Pomona, and Claremont over 6.5 miles of closed and car-free streets. The event will feature 4 distinct activity hubs with live music and performances, family-friendly games, community and vendor booths, and more.
For our part, Sustainable Claremont will lead tree tours, a Bike Rodeo focusing on bike education for youth, an urban foraging walk, and environmentally focused exhibitors–from conservation to compost to art!
