Earth Day 2023

On Sunday, April 23 from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Sustainable Claremont is excited to host our Annual Earth Day Celebration. This year’s event is shaping up to be one of our biggest yet, as we partner with ActiveSGV and their 626 Golden Streets Heart of the Foothills event. Heart of the Foothills and our Earth Day Celebration will connect the cities of San Dimas, La Verne, Pomona, and Claremont over 6.5 miles of car-free streets. The event will feature 4 distinct activity hubs with live music and performances, family-friendly games, community and vendor booths, and more.

This year, Sustainable Claremont will feature:

  • Exhibitor booths from 20 local sustainability organizations

  • Youth Bike Education Rodeo (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

  • Native plant & tree giveaways

  • Hands-on home composting workshops

  • Youth Activities

  • Tree walking tours

  • Urban foraging walking tours

  • And so much more!

The Celebration will take place on First Street in the heart of Downtown Claremont. So mark your calendars and we will see you there!
