Getting to Zero on a Community Scale

Dominique Hargreaves, who works for Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti's Office of Sustainability, will speak about efficiently reducing energy usage so that the balance of energy for vehicles, thermal, and electrical is met with renewable energy within the community. This talk will explore the strategies that lead to net-zero on a community scale.

Dominique Hargreaves, a recipient of the Women in Sustainability Leadership Leadership Award, holds credentials in LEED, WELL, Envision and EcoDistricts. She studies sustainability rating systems and is particularly interested in the intersections between high-performance, Net-Zero buildings and health and wellness initiatives. 

This meeting is open to the public and is presented by the League of Women Voters of the-Mt. Baldy Area. It will be held in the San Dimas Library Meeting Room, 145 N. Walnut Ave., in San Dimas on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 6:30 to 7:45.
