Sustainable communities must have a healthy economic foundation, but also one which minimizes the negative effects of business on the environment. Attention to increasing the number of businesses, the customer base and the number of 'green' jobs in the area, along with the use of 'green' business practices are high priorities.
Current Project: The first projects being undertaken by the Economic Sustainability Action Group are to provide information about sustainable business practices and to develop a recognition program for “green” businesses.
