The members of the Buildings Action Group are concerned with decreasing the negative effects of building by increasing the number of new buildings and remodels that are designed using current best practices for sustainability. They are advocates for preservation and reuse of existing buildings and for development that maintains the important character of existing neighborhoods.
Current Project: As its first action, the Buildings Action Group is beginning a survey of existing organizations which are associated with the built environment to assess their interest in and willingness to contribute to sustainable development practices.

"There is nothing in which the birds differ more from man than the way in which they can build and yet leave a landscape as it was before."Robert Lynd
